Cypress Gardens

Today was a special treat for Berkeley County residents.  Not only do we get in to Cypress Gardens free, but they were hosting a swamp safari, with all kinds of animals and exhibits for people (and kids, especially) to enjoy.  They had a band, food, and crafts, and my kids had a blast.

Unfortunately – it’s just one of those things – when you have to help your kids be hands-on with crafts and animal petting (gators and opossums and rabbits, oh my!), you don’t have any hands left for the camera.  So although I have absolutely no pictures to share of the swamp safari, I do have pictures of the gardens themselves.  It was hot and the kids didn’t always want to cooperate, but I’ll share a couple so you get an idea of how beautiful Cypress Gardens is.
