Y’all, I’ve been neglecting my blog. I have so many sessions (plus one wedding!) ready to write about and so little time. My limited time is quite possibly related to the “many sessions” bit…but also the frantic pace of end of the year school events (teacher appreciation week! field day! projects!) plus a soccer season for two boys, plus a birthday, Mother’s Day, and Memorial Day weekend.
Phew.
You may have surmised, I can’t even try to reach J.T. level excitement for “May.”
That being said, I have to share the beautiful images I’ve been taking. I’m going to start out with a session at Folly Beach. Which, by the way, if you’d like to secure a mini beach session, I still have a few sessions left in the shop, here.
The Charleston area had had beautiful weather up until that Sunday, when the clouds and wind rolled in and the temperatures dropped.
“Of course,” you might say, to which I’d nod vigorously and respond,
“Of course.”
We may not have gotten a golden sunset, but the clouds made for a beautiful backdrop for an energetic (nearly) 4-year-old. I love the color of her dress against that moody blue sky… Guh. And in celebration of Mother’s Day, I’m including a few of her and her mother, too, because they are too lovely to keep all to myself. This area remains one of my absolute favorites to shoot at, just for the multiple scenic changes you can get all in one location.
Beautiful, right? Nothing beats the freedom of the beach, even when the wind is whipping and the sun’s taking an evening off. <3
Happy mid-May, everyone. May your schedules ease up enough for you to enjoy the entrance to summer!
